CHILDREN’S CHURCH MINISTRY
The Children’s Church Ministry was organized to encourage the children as they begin their walk with Christ by teaching and sharing the gospel and celebrating and honoring God through prayer and service. The curriculum consists of biblical based lessons and activities that are age appropriate. Children’s Church is held every Sunday during morning worship for all children ages 3 to 9. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary to attend Children’s Church during the morning offering.
YOUNG PEOPLE OF ZION (YPoZ)
The Young People of Zion is a ministry that raises funds and organizes events for the youth of ZCBC#1. The goal of YPoZ is to promote church-centered activities for today’s youth.
YOUTH CHOIR MINISTRY
The Youth Choir nurtures, guides, teaches, and cultivates each young person’s spiritual growth and development in order that their individual talents are manifested through their love of singing praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This ministry strives to showcase the youth’s talents during worship services and special events throughout the year to draw more young people to publicly acknowledge our Lord.
YOUTH CHURCH
Youth Church is led by associate minister Rev. Eric Capers every Sunday during morning worship to teach the youth (ages 10 to 18) the principles of the Bible and biblical based life lessons.
YOUTH PRAISE DANCERS
The Youth Praise Dancers contribute to Sunday morning services and special events by praising God through dancer. The Youth Praise Dancers consist of both elementary-age children and teenagers.
YOUTH USHER BOARD
The Youth Usher Board exemplifies Christ through its service as doorkeepers on 4th Sundays. It is composed of young people ready to serve and not allowing their age to limit their abilities. The young people are trained to always set an example for believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
