Bachelor of Arts in Music
Jonathan Evans is the son of Deacon Kenneth and Laverne Evans. He attended and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. He plans to continue his studies at USC to pursue a Master’s in Music Performance. He has been playing Double bass for 14 years and bass guitar for 9 years. Jonathan has had the opportunity to perform with orchestras across the state of South Carolina and plans to continue into a professional career. While in college, he also performed with the USC Symphony Orchestra, USC Symphonic Winds, and the Swing Shift Big band. In his spare time, he likes to exercise at the gym and enjoy the outdoors.

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health
Katrina is the daughter of Deacon Martin and Beverly Samuels. Katrina is a May 2020 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University with a BS Degree in Public Health. She feels blessed to have been able to complete her undergraduate education within 4 years and receive her degree under the circumstances of the pandemic. She would like to thank her church family for always supporting and believing in her. Most of all, she thanks God for watching over her and guiding her through her college journey.
MARTIN SAMUELS, JR.
Lander University – 2019
Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies
Martin is the son of Deacon Martin and Beverly Samuels. In December, he graduated with the Lander University class of 2019 with his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Thank you church family for the support you’ve given him all throughout his college journey. Most importantly he gives honor to God for being with him every step of the way. Now Martin has started down a new path in his life and he plans to keep Him close to him every step of the way.
Completion of 2-Year Residency Program
Nieka is the daughter of Reginald and Alecia Jackson and the granddaughter of Ernestine S. Jackson. Nieka, after graduating from Presbyterian College with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, has now completed a 2-year residency program in June 2020 specializing in Pain Management and Palliative Care.
